Subject: ORIENTATION Letter to Lions
To Lions Club officers and members,
At our Council of Governors this weekend, It was requested by our
MD 11 Orientation Chair, PDG Clem Ruiz, that we send out the first
page of his Orientation Program to everyone, concerning orientation
for the local clubs. Please copy this page for all your club members,
and of course make sure you have the correct answers and information
about your club.
It has been suggested that you have members arrive 15 minutes or
half an hour earlier before your meetings and discuss this orientation
page with the members of your club. It is very important to have our
clubs know about where we originated, what Lions do, and Why we do
what we do, and How we do what we do, and when we do what we do.
It would be good if your club has someone to take the position of
orientation person, to ensure that each member (existing or new) has
the knowledge of the Lions Club, that would enable him/her to talk
intelligently and answer questions from non-Lions, that they come in
contact with.

subject or orientation to all members of your club, and for helping us all
to continue to serve faithfully in our Lions Clubs. If you would like
